Does Traceless.me store log files?

No, we do not permanently store log files.

Are your servers encrypted?

No, as we do not store any log files there are no files on our servers, which would need to be encrypted.

Do I have to register an account with you, as I cannot access your support area?

Please have a look at our contact form thus you do not need an account within our support area. Just write us a simple e-mail.

Are there any hidden limits concerning bandwidth, a traffic limit or anything else?

As a premium user there are no traffic restrictions whatsoever. As a free user you get 5GB per month for free.

I have registered an account with you. Am I traceless right away?

No, you are not. Please read the instructions we provide and follow them in order to get traceless. If you were a less experienced user we would advise you to read a bit more regarding this subject. Also you are most welcome to ask our support for further information.

Is it possible to share my account with other people?

We try to be fair running traceless and offering our services at a reasonable and competitive price. We entreat you not to share your account with others as this is costing resources while not covering the arising costs from the usage. Try also to be fair. If you and your friends want to use the service feel free to contact our support and we will be able to give you a discount on registering more accounts.

I need a custom plan concerning the price, bandwidth, simultaneous connections or traffic limit. Will you make me an offer?

This totally depends on your needs. Please contact our support in order to get a custom offer. We do not decline this possibility and try to find a suitable solution that fits your needs.

Is it possible to see a list of your current servers?

We are constantly expanding our network, check back once in a while to see in what countries we are expanding at the moment. You can also contact our support and propose new locations.

I need access to a server in a country that is not available yet in your network. Do you expand your network?

Yes, we continuously expand our network depending on the current demand. Talk to our support about your needs and we will consider adding it to our network.

Can I use the full bandwidth disregarding the bandwidth limit I have to obey from my ISP (internet service provider)?

No, as your bandwidth primarily depends on your ISP you can only use what you get from your ISP.

Does each user get a dedicated IP or will an IP-address shared by multiple users?

You will get a shared IP-address, which you will share with other users.

Do you even offer dedicated IP-addresses and custom port forwarding?

No, at the moment we do not offer this possibility in our customer panel. We try to improve our service continuously and this is planned for the future. Upon request we can discuss a special package with you which contains a dedicated IP or custom port forwarding or both.

My connection is slow. What should I do?

Usually there are different users connected to one server so you may not get the full bandwidth on a very populated server. In general this should not happen as we try to distribute users among the servers in a way that everybody gets the most bandwidth possible. Key part of our concept is to provide a VPN service that does not affect your regular browsing experiences. Thus please shoot us a mail when you experience these kinds of issues and we'll look into it and investigate it further.

I want to cancel my subscription with Traceless.me what should I do?

If you did not select the option to renew your account automatically you don't need to take any further action. Of course we are curious of the reasons why you stop using Traceless and would like to get feedback from you in order to improve the service and ourselves. If you did set your account to auto-renew, you can just contact us before the renewal period and we'll make sure the subscription gets cancelled.

How long will it take for my account to be active?

After you have registered your account successfully the account will become useable.

Am I really able to circumvent censorship in my country?

Yes, as we provide various server locations we assume that you will find a fitting location for your needs.

Google is displayed in a different language when I am connected to a VPN server, what can I do to circumvent this behaviour?

You can simply circumvent this behaviour by visiting http://google.com/ncr.

Do you operate own DNS servers?

Yes, we do. We always try to push our own DNS servers whenever you are connected to our services as far as possible. If this doesn't work for you and you suffer from DNS leaks please contact our support.

OpenVPN is leaking my DNS, what can I do about it?

You can either adjust your DNS settings which requires a bit more knowledge or you add the option "block-outside-dns" to your OpenVPN config file which is available since OpenVPN version 2.3.9.

I have a different question I cannot find within your FAQ and on your website or somewhere else. What should I do now?
